Dark Walnut Board with a Beaded Carved Border

This chess set frames an inlaid walnut-and-maple board with a richly worked border - a fine diamond-lattice field edged by a hand-carved beaded, egg-and-dart molding. A smooth drawer pulls out from the base to store all thirty-two pieces, and a separate felt-lined wooden case is included to keep them protected.

Turned and finished by hand from solid beech and walnut in a deep, warm tone, this 19.7" board brings traditional craftsmanship to any room.
