A two-in-one heirloom board that folds shut like a case and opens to reveal a full chess game on top and a backgammon layout inside. The beechwood surface is hand-carved in a quilted diamond pattern, framed by scalloped edges and finished with a cast-bronze Tree of Life medallion at each end. It is dressed with figural cast-metal pieces - medieval warriors and knights in gold and dark bronze - that turn a game into a display.
