Are your products handmade?
Yes, each item is handcrafted by skilled Armenian artisans using premium wood and traditional techniques.
Who carves your pieces?
Many of our chess sets and backgammon boards are hand-carved by Hrachya Ohanyan, a master woodcarver working in Yerevan. You can read his story on our Hrachya Ohanyan page.
What materials do you use?
We use high-quality natural wood: walnut, beech, and oak, plus premium finishing materials designed for durability and aesthetics.
What sizes do the boards come in?
Backgammon boards range from compact 40–50 cm travel sets to full competition-size 50–60 cm boards; chess sets typically run 30–50 cm. Each product page lists exact dimensions, and custom sizes may be available on request.
Do you accept custom orders?
Yes, selected custom designs may be available upon request. Contact us and we'll see what's possible.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free worldwide: every order, no minimum.
How long does delivery take?
We prepare each piece in 1–3 business days. Made-to-order or engraved pieces take 1–2 weeks. Then standard delivery takes about 5–8 business days to the US and Canada, 3–8 to Europe and the UK, 6–14 to Australia and New Zealand, and 5–20 to the rest of the world.
How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships, with live updates through DHL or FedEx.
Will I pay customs duties or import taxes?
Your order ships from Armenia. For US customers we cover all duties and taxes: your order is delivered duty paid, with nothing to pay on arrival. In the EU you pay local VAT (about 19–25%); in the UK, import VAT applies on orders over £135; elsewhere any import fees are set by your country. Will my order arrive safely?
All items are carefully packed with protective materials to ensure safe international delivery.
What is your return policy?
You can return any order within 30 days of delivery, for any reason, worldwide. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or wrong, the return is free and you choose a replacement or a full refund; for change-of-mind returns the item should be unused in its original packaging and you cover return shipping. EU and UK customers also have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right and a 2-year guarantee on faults. Engraved pieces, custom commissions and gift cards can't be returned unless they arrive faulty. What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, all through Shopify's secure checkout.
