Armenian Wall Clock - Church of St. Gayane
The Church of St. Gayane has stood in Etchmiadzin since 630 AD — one of the purest examples of Armenian architecture, a UNESCO World Heritage site. On this handmade wooden wall clock her dome and arcades are carved in relief around the dial, fourteen centuries of stone rendered in warm wood.
At 11.8" / 30 cm the clock hangs beautifully in a hallway, kitchen or study. For anyone who has walked the Etchmiadzin grounds — or grew up on photographs of them — this carved Armenian wall clock is a small homecoming every time they check the hour.
