A Round Board Wrapped in Carved Detail

This round chess set pairs a crisp walnut-and-maple playing field with a broad, hand-carved border of woven diamond lattice and rope-twist molding. Brass coordinate studs ring the board, and a curved drawer slides out from the base to store all thirty-two pieces.

Crafted from solid beech and walnut and finished by hand, its circular form and intricate carving make it as much a decorative object as a playable board - finished with the signature brass "H" drawer pull.
