A Fortress in Miniature
The Castle chess set is a true showpiece - a walnut-and-maple board raised on a hand-carved stone-style castle, complete with battlement walls, corner turrets and bronze cannons standing guard at every corner. Arched niches around the base shelter carved sentinels, while richly detailed figural pieces bring a medieval battle to the board.
Two ornate drawers pull out from the fortress base to store the entire army, each fitted with an antique-finish brass handle. Built from 15 kg of solid beech and walnut, this is a collector's centerpiece meant to be admired as much as played.
