What is an epoxy backgammon board?
A solid wood board where parts of the playing surface are filled with coloured epoxy resin, then polished smooth. The result is a striking contrast between natural grain and vivid resin — and no two boards are ever alike.
Is the resin surface durable enough for real play?
Yes. The cured resin is hard and polished, made for regular play. Wipe it clean with a soft cloth after use.
Are these boards handmade?
Yes — each board is carved and resin-filled by hand in Armenia by master artisan Hrachya Ohanyan. Because of the pour, every board is one of a kind.
