Shipping is free on every order, worldwide - tracked and fully insured. Orders over $600 are automatically upgraded to express courier with signature on delivery, at no extra cost. For everything else, express upgrades are available at checkout via DHL Express and FedEx.
Every LionLaurel piece is finished by hand in Armenia and carefully inspected before it leaves our workshop, so your order arrives exactly as it should — wherever you are.
Handmade production time
Before your order ships, it goes through preparation and final inspection:
In-stock pieces are prepared, inspected, and packed in 1–3 business days.
Made-to-order and engraved pieces are carved and finished for you in 1–2 weeks. If your piece is made to order, we confirm the exact timeline in your order confirmation email.
Orders placed on weekends or Armenian public holidays begin processing the next business day.
How your order ships
Every shipment travels tracked and insured, with the courier chosen for your destination — DHL Express, FedEx, or a vetted postal partner.
Orders over $600 ship by express courier (DHL Express or FedEx) with signature required on delivery — automatically, and still free.
Orders under $600 ship free by standard tracked service, with express upgrades available at checkout.

Orders over $600 always travel in the Express row — free.
Delivery times are courier estimates and can be affected by customs clearance, remote destinations, and peak seasons. Total arrival time = handmade production time + the transit window shown above.
Chess & backgammon tables
Tables ship free as well — by specialist furniture freight, fully tracked and insured. Because of their size and weight, delivery takes 2–4 weeks after production, and we'll contact you personally to arrange a convenient delivery window.
🇪🇺 Europe — countries we ship to
We deliver across the European Union and wider Europe. Standard (free) delivery to these destinations takes 3–8 business days, and express takes 3–5 business days. Key countries include:

Customs, duties & taxes
United States: we ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — all import duties and taxes are covered by us, so there are no extra charges to pay on delivery.
European Union: import VAT (and duty, where applicable) is charged by your country and collected by the courier before delivery. As a guide, EU import VAT is 19–25% of the order value, depending on your country, and is not included in our prices.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom: for orders over £135, UK import VAT is collected by the courier before delivery.
🌍 All other countries: any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the item or shipping price.

Order tracking
You'll receive a tracking link by email the moment your order ships; express shipments include real-time courier updates. If you haven't received tracking by the end of your production window, email us and we'll check on it immediately.
Lost, delayed or damaged parcels
Every shipment is sent tracked and insured. If your order is significantly delayed, arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive at all, contact us at contact@lionlaurel.com. For damage, a few photos are enough — you won't need to ship anything back. Our Refund Policy explains exactly how replacements and refunds work.
Incorrect addresses & failed deliveries
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — we can only ship to the address you provide. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address or an uncollected delivery, we'll contact you to arrange re-delivery; the actual re-shipping cost applies.
