Условия обслуживания

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These terms set out how you buy from LionLaurel, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. They apply whenever you use lionlaurel.com or place an order with us. Please read them — they're short, and we've written them to be understood.

1. Who you're buying from

LionLaurel (Davit Davoyan)
Karakhanyan 1 48
Yerevan 0092, Armenia

Email: contact@lionlaurel.com
Phone: +374 41 777 882 · +374 33 777 882

"We", "us" and "our" mean LionLaurel. "You" means the person buying from us or using this website. Our shop runs on Shopify, and card payments are processed by Stripe.

2. These terms, and our other policies

Four documents govern your purchase, and they're designed to work together:

These Terms of Service · Shipping Policy · Refund Policy · Privacy Policy

If anything in these terms ever conflicts with our Refund Policy or Shipping Policy, the more favourable outcome for you applies.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the version that applies to your purchase — changes we make later don't apply retroactively to an order you've already placed.

3. Using this website

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us.

Please don't use the site to do anything unlawful, to interfere with how it works, to break its security, or to harvest other people's information. Please don't scrape, bulk-copy, or republish our content for commercial purposes.

Search engines and AI assistants are welcome here. We publish an llms.txt and we're happy for legitimate search crawlers and AI assistants to read and index this site. The restriction above is aimed at commercial copying — not at discovery.

4. Our pieces are handmade — and that means something

Every board we sell is carved, joined, and finished by hand from natural wood. No two are identical, and they're not supposed to be.

Grain, colour, figure, and the exact placement of ornament will vary from piece to piece. Walnut darkens with age. Beech and oak shift subtly in tone. Small natural marks in the wood are part of its character.

Our photographs show representative pieces, photographed honestly. Your piece will match them in design, size, materials, and quality of work — but it will have its own grain and its own character. That variation is the point of a handmade object, and it isn't a fault.

Screens also render colour differently, so we can't guarantee that the exact shade you see matches the wood in your hands.

If you'd like to see photographs of the specific piece before it ships, just ask us — we're happy to send them.

5. Placing an order, and when the contract begins

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. The automatic email confirming we've received your order is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance.

The contract between us begins when we email you to confirm your order has been dispatched (or, for made-to-order pieces, when we confirm we've begun work on it).

Until then, we may decline your order — for example if a piece is no longer available, if we can't ship to your address, if we can't verify the payment, or if we've made a genuine error in the price or description. If we decline an order for any reason, we refund you in full, immediately.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency you select and include our worldwide shipping. Import duties and taxes are handled as set out in our Shipping Policy — please read that section before ordering from outside the United States.

Payment is taken at checkout, securely, by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

We may change our prices at any time, but a change never affects an order you've already placed.

If we make a mistake with a price — for example a piece listed at a small fraction of its real value — we won't quietly cancel your order and we will never charge you more than the price you agreed. We'll contact you, explain what happened, and give you the choice: pay the corrected price, or receive a full refund. Your choice.

7. Engraving and personalisation

Some pieces can be engraved with text you choose. Three things to know:

We engrave exactly what you type. Please check your text carefully, including spelling, spacing, and punctuation. We can't undo an engraving.

Engraved pieces can't be returned or exchanged unless they arrive faulty or damaged — because they're made to your personal specification and can't be offered to anyone else. We tell you this on the product page before you add an engraving, and this exclusion doesn't affect any of your rights if the piece arrives with a fault.

We may decline text that is unlawful, hateful, offensive, or that uses someone else's trademark or copyright. If we do, we'll contact you and either engrave alternative wording you choose, or cancel that item and refund it in full.

8. Delivery and timing

Production times, delivery windows, carriers, and customs are all set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Delivery estimates are exactly that — estimates. We'll always tell you if something is running late, and if a delay becomes unreasonable you can cancel and receive a full refund.

Risk in the goods passes to you when they're delivered to the address you gave us.

9. Cancelling, returning, and faults

You can cancel any order free of charge before it ships — just email us.

After delivery, you have 30 days to return anything for any reason, from anywhere in the world. If a piece arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, send us photos and we'll replace it or refund you in full.

Consumers in the EU, the EEA, and the UK also have statutory rights that sit on top of this, including a 14-day right of withdrawal and a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years.

Full details, the return address, and the model withdrawal form are all in our Refund Policy.

10. Reviews and anything you send us

Reviews on this site are collected through Loox and are marked as verified where they come from a confirmed purchase.

If you leave a review or send us a photo of your piece, you keep ownership of it — but you give us permission to display and reproduce it on our website, in our emails, and in our social media and marketing. Please don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.

We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or clearly not from a real customer. We do not remove reviews simply for being critical.

If you send us an idea or suggestion without us asking for it, we're free to use it, and we're not obliged to keep it confidential or to pay you for it.

11. Intellectual property

The LionLaurel name and logo, this website's design, our original photography, and our original written content belong to us. Some product photography and descriptions are supplied by, or made together with, our artisan partners and remain theirs. The carved designs themselves — including the Mount Ararat outline — belong to the artisans who created them.

Full details are in our Legal Notice.

12. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for the pieces we sell you. If a board arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, your rights are set out in our Refund Policy and are protected by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live. Wherever the law gives you more than we do, the law applies.

Subject to all of the above: we provide the website itself as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate, secure, and available, but we can't promise it will never have an error or an outage, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website.

13. Things outside our control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events genuinely beyond our control — extreme weather, customs holds, courier failures, strikes, or similar. If something like that happens, we'll tell you promptly and work to get your order to you. If the delay becomes unreasonable, you can cancel and we'll refund you in full.

14. Governing law

These terms and your purchase are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live. Consumers in the European Union, the EEA, and the United Kingdom keep the right to bring proceedings in their own country of residence, and their local consumer law continues to apply.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still stand.

15. Language

We contract in English. Where we make these terms available in another language, that version is provided for your convenience.

16. Talk to us first

If something goes wrong, email contact@lionlaurel.com. We answer within 1–2 business days and we resolve almost everything directly — faster and better than any formal process. We'd genuinely rather fix it than argue about it.
