What is an epoxy chess set?

A board carved from a single piece of solid walnut, with the playing fields filled with coloured epoxy resin and polished smooth — a modern technique applied to a timeless game.

Is every board unique?

Yes. The walnut grain is never the same twice, so the contrast between wood and resin makes each board one of a kind.

Is the resin surface durable?

Yes — the cured, polished resin is hard and made for regular play. Wipe with a soft cloth to keep it pristine.

Yes, to the US, Canada and Europe, on every order in this collection. Other countries pay a flat $100 for tracked delivery (Brazil, Chile and New Zealand $200).

About this collection
